2020-071 By-law to allow Temporary uses on lands described as East part of Lot 16, Concession 14, Parts 1 and 2 on 51R-30258The Corporation of the Township of Oro-Medonte By-law No. 2020-071 A By-law to allow Temporary Uses on lands described as follows: East Part of Lot 16, Concession 14, Parts 1 and 2, on 51 R-30258, Township of Oro-Medonte, County of Simcoe, (Municipally known as 5071 Highway 11 North) under Section 34 and 39 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13, as amended Roll # 4346-010-012-34400 Whereas the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Oro-Medonte is empowered to pass By-laws to regulate the use of land pursuant to Sections 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13; And Whereas an application has been submitted to the Township of Oro-Medonte to establish a temporary use; And Whereas the Official Plan for the Township of Oro-Medonte contains certain policies in Section E 1.2 which allow for the establishment of temporary uses; And Whereas Section 39 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13, as amended, in accordance with Section 34, provides the authority to establish temporary uses; Now Therefore the Council of the Township of Oro-Medonte hereby enacts as follows Notwithstanding the permitted uses of By-law 97-95, as amended, as they apply to lands described as East Part Lot 16, Concession 14, 51 R-30258, Parts 1 and 2, as shown of Schedule "A" attached hereto, these lands may be used for the following uses on a temporary basis: ,,a) Uses permitted within an existing building: i. Buildings Supply Outlets and Showroom ii. Business Offices iii. Custom Workshops iv. Retail Stores v. Building Contractors Supply Outlet vi. Auction Centre vii. Contractor's Yard viii. Warehouses ix. Equipment Sales Establishment x. Banquet Hall A. Recreational Vehicle Sales Establishment (Snowmobiles, 4x4 vehicles) xii. Construction Equipment Sales Establishment xiii. Swimming Pool and Spa Sales Establishment xiv. Dock and Seasonal Sales Establishment xv. Motor Vehicle Sales Establishment (for a maximum of 50 vehicles) xvi. Trailer/Recreational Vehicle Sales Establishment (for a maximum of 135 units) xvii. Mobile/Modular Home Sales Establishment (maximum of 5 units) xviii. Service Shops, Light b) Outdoor Storage Uses c) Accessory Outdoor Display and Sales (to a maximum of 7 businesses) d) Accessory Temporary Seasonal Tents e) Temporary Building (maximum of one)" 2. Schedule "A" attached hereto forms part of this By-law. 3. This By-law shall take effect on the final passing thereof and in accordance with the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13, and is hereby repealed one (1) year from the date of passing of this By-law.
