All Council and staff participated via ZOOM platform.
1. Call to Order - Moment of Reflection:
Mayor H.S. Hughes assumed the Chair and called the meeting to order followed by a
moment of reflection.
2. Adoption of Agenda:
a) Motion to Adopt the Agenda.

Be it resolved that the agenda for the Special Council meeting of Wednesday, July 29, 2020
be received and adopted.

None declared.
4. Reports of Municipal Officers for Action:
a) Robin Dunn, CAO memorandum correspondence dated July 29, 2020 re: COVID-19
Service Response Update - Municipal Parks / Water Access.

Be it resolved
1. That the memorandum correspondence dated July 29, 2020 and presented by Robin
Dunn, CAO, re: COVID-19 Service Response Update - Municipal Parks / Water Access
be received and adopted.
2. That No. 2 of Motion No. SC200722-10 of the July 22, 2020 Special Council meeting be
rescinded.
3. That Council authorize the reopening of the Shanty Bay Wharf to the public, with hours of
use 7:OOam-9:OOpm, effective July 30, 2020.
4. That staff proceed accordingly.

5. Confirmation By -Law:
a) 2020-081: Being a by-law to confirm the proceedings of the Special Council meeting
held on Wednesday, July 29, 2020.

Be it resolved that By -Law No. 2020-081: Being a by-law to confirm the proceedings of the
Special Council meeting held on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 be read a first, second and third
time, passed, be engrossed by the Deputy Clerk, signed and sealed by the Mayor.
