A By -Law to Repeal By -Law Nos. 2019-089 and 2017-095
"A By-law to Amend By-law No. 2013-159, Being a By-law to delegate the Head of
the Municipal Corporation for the purposes of the Municipal Freedom of
Information and Protection of Privacy Act, 1990"
Whereas Section 224 of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c.25, as amended,
provides that it is the role of Council to ensure that administrative practices and
procedures are in place to implement the decisions of Council;
And Whereas Council enacted By -Law No. 2019-089, "A By-law to Amend By-law No.
2013-159, "Being a By-law to delegate the Head of the Municipal Corporation for the
purposes of the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, 1990"
on the 11th day of September, 2019;
And Whereas Council enacted By -Law No. 2017-095, "A By-law to Amend By-law No.
2013-159, "Being a By-law to delegate the Head of the Municipal Corporation for the
purposes of the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, 1990"
on the 21th day of June, 2017;
And Whereas Council of The Corporation of the Township of Oro-Medonte deems it
desirable to repeal By -Law Nos. 2019-089 and 2017-095;
Now Therefore the Council of the Township of Oro-Medonte hereby enacts as follows:
That By-law Nos. 2019-089 and 2017-095 are hereby repealed in their entirety
effective March 23, 2020.
2. This by-law shall take effect on the final passing thereof.
By-law read a First, Second and Third time, and Passed this 24th day of March,
2020.
