Call to Order - Moment of Reflection: Mayor H.S. Hughes assumed the Chair and called the meeting to order. 2. Adoption of Agenda: a) Motion to Adopt the Agenda. Motion No. SC200324-1 Moved by Greenlaw, Seconded by Veitch Be it resolved that the agenda for the Special Council meeting of Tuesday, March 24, 2020 be received and adopted. Carried. Reports of Municipal Officers: a) Donna Hewitt, Director, Corporate Services re: Request to Livestream Regular and Special Council Meetings in the Event of a Declared Emergency. Motion No. SC200324-2 Moved by Greenlaw, Seconded by Scott Be it resolved 1. That the verbal information presented by Donna Hewitt, Director, Corporate Services re: Request to Livestream Regular and Special Council Meetings in the Event of a Declared Emergency be received. 2. That, notwithstanding Motion C200212-13 with respect to livestreaming and recording of regular Council meetings, in the event of a declared emergency where the Township Administration Building is closed to the public, Regular and Special Council meetings are to be livestreamed to provide the public access to the meeting. Carried. 5. By -Laws: a) 2020-036: A By-law to amend By -Law No. 2017-165 (Procedural By-law) to allow for Electronic Participation where a State of Emergency has been declared.
