2020-063 By-law to amend the zoning provisions which apply to lands at Part of Lot 5, Range 2 (Oro) Township of Oro-Medonte 2020-ZBA-03 (Piotrowski)The Corporation of the Township Of Oro-Medonte By -Law No. 2020-063 A By-law to amend the zoning provisions which apply to lands at Part of Lot 5, Range 2 (Oro) Township of Oro-Medonte 2020-ZBA-03 (Piotrowski) Whereas the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Oro-Medonte is empowered to pass By-laws to regulate the use of land pursuant to Sections 34 and 36 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13; And Whereas Council deems it appropriate to rezone the subject lands to prohibit the development of residential uses, in accordance with Section C1.3.1 of the Official Plan. Now Therefore the Council of the Township of Oro-Medonte hereby enacts as follows: Schedule 'A9' to Zoning By-law 97-95, as amended, is hereby further amended by changing the zone symbol applying to the lands located in Part of Lot 5, Range 2 (Oro), Township of Oro-Medonte, from the Agricultural/Rural (A/RU) Zone to Agricultural/Rural Exception 312 (A/RU'312) Zone to prohibit residential uses, and to Agricultural/Rural Exception 313 (A/RU'313) Zone to recognize the existing oversized detached accessory building located on the severed lot, as shown on Schedule "A" attached and forming part of this By-law. 2. Section 7.0 — to Zoning By-law 97-95, as amended, is hereby further amended by adding the following subsection: 7.312 *312 — Part of Lot 5, Range 2 (Oro), Township of Oro-Medonte (Piotrowski) Notwithstanding Table A4 — Permitted Uses, a single detached dwelling is not permitted on the lands denoted by the symbol *312 on the schedule to this By- law." "7.313 *313 — Part of Lot 5, Range 2 (Oro), Township of Oro-Medonte (Piotrowski) Notwithstanding Section 5.1.6 (Maximum Floor Area), a detached accessory building on the lands on the date of the passing of this By-law shall only be used for the purpose of a residential accessory building, and any new or replacement accessory building(s) and structure(s) shall comply with Section 5.1 of the Zoning By-law." 3. Schedule "A" attached to By-law No. 2020-063 is declared to form a part of this By-law. 4. This By-law shall come into effect upon the date of passage hereof, subject to the provisions of the Planning Act, as amended.
