Call to Order - Moment of Reflection: Mayor H.S. Hughes assumed the Chair, called the meeting to order followed by a moment of reflection. 2. Adoption of Agenda: a) Motion to Adopt the Agenda. Motion No. SC191210-1 Moved by Greenlaw, Seconded by Veitch Be it resolved that the agenda for the Special Council meeting of Tuesday, December 10, 2019 be received and adopted. Carried. 3. Deputations: a) Gord Knox re: Short Term Rentals (STR / Airbnbs) [Additional information from November 27, 2019 Council meeting]. Council consented to allow the deputation to be extended past the 10 minute time limit. Motion No. SC191210-2 Moved by Scott, Seconded by Keane Be it resolved that the correspondence dated December 2 and 4, 2019 and information presented by Gord Knox re: Short Term Rentals (STR / Airbnbs) be received. Carried. 5. Confirmation By -Law: a) 2019-130: Being a by-law to confirm the proceedings of the Special Council meeting held on Tuesday, December 10, 2019. Motion No. SC191210-3 Moved by Veitch, Seconded by Greenlaw Be it resolved that By -Law No. 2019-130: Being a by-law to confirm the proceedings of the Special Council meeting held on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 be read a first, second and third time, passed, be engrossed by the Deputy Clerk, signed and sealed by the Mayor.
