County of Simcoe Economic Development Funding Program.

1. That CS2019-24, Jennifer Whitley, Coordinator, Economic Development/
Communications re: County of Simcoe Economic Development Funding Program be
received and adopted.
2. That Council endorses the submission to the County of Simcoe Economic Development
Funding Program for $50,000 for the preparation of an Employment Lands Strategy.
3. That the Coordinator, Economic Development & Communications complete and submit
the required Funding Application.

Land — 50 Fairway Court.

Be it resolved that the motion with respect to CS2019-23, Donna Hewitt, Director, Corporate
Services re: Acquisition/ Disposition of Land — 50 Fairway Court be amended to add:
4. That Site Plan Control be imposed on the lots to ensure the lot development and design
conform to the existing community and the appropriate by-law to delegate the lots as a
Site Plan Control Area be brought forward for Council's consideration.
5. And that the funds generated, as a result of the sale as proposed in the concept plan, be
retained in the Parkland Reserve Fund and utilized towards the Community Centre at 739
Horseshoe Valley Road West.

1. That the verbal information presented by Councillor Keane re: Simcoe County District
School Board (SCDSB) Capital Projects - Shanty Bay Public School be received.
2. That Council direct staff to submit a letter of support, under the Mayor's signature, to the
Ministry of Education regarding the Simcoe County District School Board's Capital
request adding Shanty Bay Public School to the list of capital asset replacement repairs
and which would outline the significance and importance of maintaining the existence of
this school to the Township of Oro-Medonte.
