Motion No. AAC180430-1 Moved by McKechnie, Seconded by Humphries It is recommended that the agenda for the Accessibility Advisory Committee meeting of Monday, April 30, 2018 be received and approved. Motion No. AAC180430-2 Moved by Humphries, Seconded by McKechnie It is recommended that the draft minutes of Accessibility Advisory Committee meeting held on Monday, April 3, 2017 be received and approved as printed and circulated. Carried. 4. Reports: a) Shawn Binns, Director, Operations & Community Services re: Community Services Update. Motion No. AAC180430-3 Moved by McKechnie, Seconded by Humphries It is recommended 1. That the PowerPoint presentations presented by Shawn Binns, Director, Operations & Community Services re: Bayview Memorial Park, Starfall Park and Carthew Dock Replacement be received. 2. And that it is recommended to Council that consideration be given to complete the Carthew Bay Dock replacements to AODA standards. Carried. b) Donna Hewitt, Director, Corporate Services re: Committee Member Resignation. Motion No. AAC180430-4 Moved by Humphries, Seconded by McKechnie It is recommended 1. That the verbal information presented by Donna Hewitt, Director, Corporate Services, re: Committee Member Resignation (Sanford) be received with regrets and best wishes. 2. And That it is recommended to Council that the Accessibility Advisory Committee Membership continue with two members for the remaining 2014-2018 term. Carried. Carried. d) Karen Way, Clerk re: Draft Election Accessibility Plan. Motion No. AAC180430-6 Moved by McKechnie, Seconded by Humphries It is recommended 1. That the correspondence presented by Karen Way, Clerk re: Draft Election Accessibility Plan be received. 2. And that it is recommended to Council that the Draft Election Accessibility Plan be endorsed and posted on the Township's website. Carried. e) Karen Way, Clerk re: 2018 Municipal Elections. Motion No. AAC180430- Moved by Humphries, Seconded by McKechnie It is recommended that the verbal information presented by Karen Way, Clerk re: 2018 Municipal Elections be received and that Committee members attend potential locations as required. Motion No. AAC180430-7 Moved by McKechnie, Seconded by Humphries It is recommended that the correspondence dated March 5, 2018 from Alfred Spencer, Director, Accessibility Outreach, Education and Referral Branch, Accessibility Directorate of Ontario re: Design Exchange's Connect Design Competition Posters be received.
