c) Notice of Receipt of a Complete Application, Notice of Particulars and Public
Access, Notice of Public Meeting for Proposed Amendment to the Zoning By-law of
the Township of Oro-Medonte, Part of Lot 21, Concession 6, 172 Line 6 South,
2018-ZBA-7 (Jeremy Kurtin).
Deputy Mayor Hough called the meeting to order at 7:03 p.m. and explained the public
meeting is being held in accordance with Section 34 of the Planning Act, to obtain public
comment with respect to a proposed Zoning By-law Amendment Application. The
purpose of Application 2018-ZBA-07 is to rezone the subject lands from the Rural
Residential Two (RUR2) Zone to Rural Residential Two Exception (RUR2"##) Zone to
permit a small scale agricultural related industrial use.
Notice of the Public Meeting was mailed to landowners within 120 metres of the
specified site, circulated to the appropriate Agencies and posted on the Township's
website on or before September 6, 2018.
The following correspondence was received: Township of Oro-Medonte, Manager,
Development Engineering dated September 6, 2018; Township of Oro-Medonte,
Operations Division dated September 6, 2018; Township of Oro-Medonte, Building
Division dated September 7, 2018; Simcoe County District School Board dated
September 10, 2018; Enbridge Gas Distribution dated September 17, 2018.
Derek Witlib, Manager, Planning Services, explained the purpose and effect of the
proposed amendment. A PowerPoint presentation was presented.

Brian Goodreid, Goodreid Planning Group, on behalf of the applicant, was present. A
PowerPoint presentation was presented.
The following public persons offered verbal comments with respect to the proposed
amendment: None.
There being no further comments or questions, the meeting adjourned at 7:31 p.m.
