A By-law to amend the zoning provisions which apply to lands at
Plan M381 Lot 4

Whereas the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Oro-Medonte is empowered
to pass By-laws to regulate the use of land pursuant to Sections 34 of the Planning Act,
R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13;
And Whereas Council deems it appropriate to rezone the subject lands.
Now Therefore the Council of the Township of Oro-Medonte hereby enacts as follows:
1. Schedule 'A7' to Zoning By-law 97-95, as amended, is hereby further
amended by changing the zone symbol applying to the lands located in Plan
M381 Lot 4, Township of Oro-Medonte, from the Rural Residential One
Exception Twenty (RUR1 *20) Zone to a Rural Residential One Exception Two
Hundred and Eighty Eight (RUR1 *288) Zone, as shown on Schedule 'A'
attached and forming part of this By-law.
2. Section 7 — Exceptions of Zoning By-law 97-95, as amended, is hereby further
amended by adding the following subsection:
7.288 *288 —Plan M381 Lot 4, Township of Oro Medonte (Jenereaux)
Notwithstanding any other provision in this By-law, the following provisions
apply to lands denoted by the symbol *288 on the schedules to this By-law:
a) Minimum lot area 0.39 hectares (0.9 acres)
b) Minimum lot frontage 42 metres (137.7 feet)
7.288.1 Permitted Uses
Notwithstanding Table Al — Rural Residential One Zone and in addition to the
permitted uses in the RUR1 Zone, on the lands zoned RUR1 *288 the following
additional uses are permitted:
a) Bed and Breakfast Establishment:
Means a single detached dwelling, which is owner occupied and the primary
residence of the owner, in which not more than three bedrooms with double
occupancy are used or maintained for the accommodation of the travelling
or vacationing public, with or without meals.
3. This By-law shall come into effect upon the date of passage hereof, subject to
the provisions of the Planning Act, as amended.

Whereas the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Oro-Medonte is
empowered to pass By-laws to regulate the use of land pursuant to Sections
34 & 36 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13;
And Whereas Council deems it appropriate to rezone the subject lands.
Now Therefore the Council of the Township of Oro-Medonte hereby enacts
as follows:
Schedule 'A1' to Zoning By-law 97-95, as amended, is hereby
further amended by changing the zone symbol applying to the
lands located in Concession 1 East Part Lot 1 (Oro), Township of
Oro-Medonte, from the Agricultural/Rural (A/RU) Zone to the
Environmental Protection (EP) Zone, Shoreline Residential (SR)
Zone and Shoreline Residential Hold (SR(H)) Zone, as shown on
Schedule 'A' attached and forming part of this By-law.
A portion of the subject lands are proposed to be zoned Shoreline
Residential Hold (SR) and shall be subject to a Hold (H) Provision
in accordance with Section 2.5 of By-law 97-95 as amended. The
Hold Provision shall not be removed until the completion of
appropriate environmental studies approved by The Township of
Oro-Medonte and Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority for
any development.
3. This By-law shall come into effect upon the date of passage hereof,
subject to the provisions of the Planning Act, as amended.

1. Schedule 'A10' to Zoning By-law 97-95, as amended, is hereby further
amended by changing the zone symbol applying to the lands located in
Concession 6 South Part Lot 20 (Oro), Township of Oro-Medonte, from the
Local Commercial Hold (LC(H)) Zone to the General Commercial Exception
289 (GC*289) Zone, as shown on Schedule 'A' attached and forming part of
this By-law.
2. Section 7 — Exceptions of Zoning By-law 97-95, as amended, is hereby
further amended by adding the following subsection:
"7.289 *289 — Concession 6 South Part Lot 20 (Oro) Township of Oro
Medonte (Michaud).
7.289.1 Permitted Uses
Notwithstanding Table A2 — General Commercial (GC) Zone and in addition
to the permitted uses in the GC Zone, on the lands zoned GC*289 the
following additional uses are permitted:
a) 1 Single detached dwelling".
3. This By-law shall come into effect upon the date of passage hereof, subject to
the provisions of the Planning Act, as amended.

By -Law No. 2018-072
Being a By -Law to Confirm the Proceedings of the Council Meeting held on
Thursday, July 19, 2018
Whereas Section 5 of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, C. 25, as amended
provides that the powers of the Municipal Council shall be exercised by By -Law,
unless the municipality is specifically authorized to do otherwise;
And Whereas The Council of The Corporation of the Township of Oro-Medonte
deems it expedient that the proceedings at this Council Meeting be confirmed and
adopted by By -Law;
Now Therefore the Council of The Corporation of the Township of Oro-Medonte
hereby enacts as follows:
1. That the actions of the Council at its Council Meeting held on Thursday, July 19,
2018, and in respect to each Motion, Resolution and other actions passed and
taken by the Council at its said Meeting is, except where prior approval of the
Ontario Municipal Board is required, hereby adopted, ratified and confirmed.
2. That the Mayor and the proper Officials of the Township are hereby authorized
and directed to do all things necessary to give effect to the said action or to
obtain approvals where required and to execute all documents as may be
necessary on behalf of the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Oro-
Medonte.
3. That the Mayor/Chair and Clerk/Designate are hereby authorized and directed to
execute and affix the corporate seal to all necessary documents.
4. And That this by-law shall come into force and take effect on the final passing
thereof. VL
