Agenda Approval: a) Motion to Approve the Agenda. Motion No. HC180528-1 Moved by Thibeault, Seconded by Lang It is recommended that the agenda for the Heritage Committee meeting held on Monday, May 28, 2018 be received and approved. 2. Approval of Minutes of Previous Meeting: a) Minutes of Heritage Committee meeting held on Monday, April 23, 2018. Motion No. HC180528-2 Moved by Fountain, Seconded by Whiston It is recommended that the draft minutes of Heritage Committee meeting held on Monday, April 23, 2018 be received and approved as printed and circulated. Carried. 4. Deputations: None. 5. Communications: a) Correspondence dated May 14, 2018 from County of Simcoe re: County of Simcoe Undertaking Archeological Management Plan, Hosting Open Houses in May and June. Motion No. HC180528-3 Moved by Thibeault, Seconded by Whiston It is recommended that the correspondence dated May 14, 2018 from County of Simcoe re: County of Simcoe Undertaking Archeological Management Plan, Hosting Open Houses in May and June be received. Motion No. HC180528-4 Moved by Fountain, Seconded by Thibeault It is recommended 1. That the verbal information presented by Mayor H.S. Hughes re: Friends of the Oro African Church be received. 2. That the Heritage Committee supports the creation of a working group of volunteers (no municipal staff) to coordinate a worship service at the Oro African Church the summer of 2018. 3. That Council consider establishing a budget for this event. 4. And That Mayor H.S. Hughes report back to the Heritage Committee at its June meeting. Carried. b) Councillor Jermey, Chair re: Index of Register of Heritage Listed/Designated Properties. Motion No. HC180528-5 Moved by Whiston, Seconded by Lang It is recommended 1. That the correspondence presented by Councillor Jermey, Chair and Roz Llewellyn, Coordinator, Community Recreation re: Index of Register of Heritage Listed/Designated Properties be received. 2. And That it is recommended to Council that the following be listed and added to the Municipal Register of Municipally Significant and/or Cultural Heritage Properties: 1. 36 Stagecoach Road; 2. 226 Stagecoach Road; 3. 3985 Line 11 North; 4. 4804 Line 10 North; 5. 4302 Line 10 North; 6. 133 Robinson Street; 7. 2406 Bass Lake Sideroad East - Stone Fence; 8. 215 Mill Street - Yacht Club; 9. 165 Mill Street; 10. 2001 15/16 Sideroad East; unless there is an objection from the owner prior to June 13, 2018.
