Proposed Amendment to the Zoning By-law of r1�w.at.� the Township of Oro-Medonte 2018-ZBA-09 (William & Carol Robertson) Take notice that the Township of Oro-Medonte deemed the following application to amend Zoning By-law 97-95, as amended, a "Complete" Application pursuant to the Planning Act on the 261' day of April, 2018. Take notice that the Development Services Committee of the Township of Oro- Medonte will hold a Public Meeting on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 5:30 p.m, in the Municipal Council Chambers. The purpose of the Public Meeting is to notify the public and to obtain public comments on a proposed Amendment to the Zoning By-law. The subject lands are described as Part of the West Half of Lot 11, Concession 13 (Oro), municipally known as 1211 Line 12 North. A key map illustrating the location of the subject lands, and a copy of the applicants site pian including the lands to be rezoned are included with this notice. The purpose and effect of the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment is to: 1. Rezone portions of the lands from Agricultural/Rural (A/RU) Zone to Residential One Exception (Rl *") to permit a minimum lot frontage of 25 metres and minimum lot area of 0.17 hectares; and 2. Rezone portions of the lands from Agricultural/Rural (A/RU) Zone to Environmental Protection Exception 230 (EP'230) to correspond with a Provincially Significant Wetland and a Significant Woodland and to identify that a miniumum 30 metre setback between structures and the boundaries of the between Environmental Protection Exception 230 (EP'230) Zone shall not apply. The above -noted amendments to the Zoning By-law are required to fulfill Conditions of Consent that were imposed by the Township on Consent Applications 2015-B-36, 2015-B-37 and 2015-B-38 that were conditionally approved on April 4, 2018. Any person may attend the public meeting and/or make written or verbal representation either in support of, or in opposition to, the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment. Written comments by any person unable to attend the meeting should be mailed/faxed/e-mailed to the Secretary -Treasurer, The Corporation of the Township of Oro-Medonte to be received no later than 12:00 p.m. noon on June 5, 2018. Please ensure that you include your name and address so that you may be contacted If necessary. If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at the public meeting or make written submissions to the Secretary -Treasurer, The Corporation of the Township of Oro-Medonte before the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment is passed or refused, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision of the Council of the Township of Oro-Medonte to the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal and may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to do so.
