A By -Law to Amend By -Law No. 2015-051, "A By-law to Appoint Public
Representatives to the Oro-Medonte Heritage Committee For the 2014-2018 Term"
Whereas Section 224 of the Municipal Act, 2001, S. 0. 2001, c.25, as amended,
provides that the role of Council is to ensure that administrative practices are in place to
implement the decisions of Council;
And Whereas Council of the Township of Oro-Medonte appoints representatives to
various committees/organizations and technical support groups;
And Whereas Council of the Township of Oro-Medonte did, on February 13, 2013,
enact By -Law No. 2013-017, "A By-law to Establish a Heritage Committee";
And Whereas Council of the Township of Oro-Medonte did, on February 25, 2015,
adopt Motion No. C150225-6 to appoint public members to the Heritage Committee for
the 2014-2018 term.
And Whereas Council of the Township of Oro-Medonte now deems it appropriate to
amend By -Law No. 2015-051 per Motion No. C171213-_ of the December 13, 2017
Council meeting.
Now Therefore the Council of the Township of Oro-Medonte hereby enacts as follows:
That Item 1 of By -Law No. 2015-051 be amended to delete Trudy O'Donnell and
replace with Christine Lang for the remainder of the 2014-2018 term.
2. This by-law shall take effect on the final passing thereof.
