That Report No. FD2017-06, Hugh Murray, Director, Fire & Emergency Services/Fire Chief re: Digital Radio Equipment Upgrade be received and adopted. 2. That the provisions of By -Law No. 2004-112 be waived to permit sole source of the project. 3. That the requested expenditure be financed from the 2017 Capital Budget. 4. And That the Fire Chief proceed accordingly. Carried. b) Robin Dunn, CAO re: Request to Change November 22, 2017 Council Meeting Commencement Time. Motion No. C171011-14 Moved by Macpherson, Seconded by Crawford Whereas the Township of Oro-Medonte Procedural By-law No. 2015-203 provides that the regular schedule of meetings for Council shall be on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month; and the public session on the fourth Wednesday of the month will commence at 7:00 p.m. And Whereas there is a scheduling request for the Wednesday, November 22, 2017 Council meeting. Now Therefore be it resolved that the Council meeting to be held on the evening of Wednesday, November 22, 2017 be rescheduled during the day of Wednesday, November 22, 2017, with the open session commencing at 10:00 a.m. And that the Clerk's Office advise the public and staff of Council's decision accordingly. Hughes, re: Proposed Tax Rules be received. 2. That the Township of Oro-Medonte supports the Municipality of East Ferris to respectfully request that the Minister of Finance review and address the concerns as outlined in their said correspondence dated September 28, 2017. 3. And that the Premier; the Minister of Finance; the Leader of the Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario and Simcoe North MPP; Leader of the Ontario New Democratic Party; and the Municipality of East Ferris be advised of Council's decision under the Mayor's signature.
