2017-113 By-law to Amend Zoning By-Law No. 97-95, as amended, Which apply to lands at South Part of Lot 22, Concession 2 (Oro) 2017-ZBA-10 (Drury)The Corporation of the Township Of Oro-Medonte By- Law No. 2017-113 A By-law to amend Zoning By-law No. 97-95, as amended, Which apply to lands at South Part of Lot 22, Concession 2 (Oro) Township of Oro-Medonte 2017-ZBA-10 (Drury) Whereas the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Oro-Medonte is empowered to pass By-laws to regulate the use of land pursuant to Sections 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13; And Whereas Council deems it appropriate to rezone the subject lands to prohibit the development of residential uses, in accordance with Section C1.3.1 of the Official Plan. Now Therefore the Council of the Township of Oro-Medonte hereby enacts as follows: Schedule 'Al2' to Zoning By-law 97-95, as amended, is hereby further amended by changing the zone symbols applying to the lands located in South Part of Lot 22, Concession 2 (Oro), Township of Oro-Medonte, from Agricultural/Rural (A/RU) Zone to Agricultural/Rural Exception 279 (A/RU*279) Zone and to Agricultural/Rural Exception 280 (A/RU*280) Zone as shown on Schedule 'A' attached and forming part of this By-law. 2. Section 7 — Exceptions of Zoning By-law No. 97-95, as amended, is hereby further amended by adding the following subsection: "7.279* *279 — South Part of Lot 22, Concession 2 (Oro) Notwithstanding "Table A4 — Permitted Uses", a single detached dwelling is not permitted on the lands denoted by the symbol *279 on the schedule to this By-law." "7.280* *280 — South Part of Lot 22, Concession 2 (Oro) Notwithstanding "Section 5.1.6 — Maximum Floor Area", a detached accessory building with a maximum size of 169.0 square metres (1820.0 square feet) is permitted on the lands denoted by the symbol *280 on the schedule to this By-law." 3. Schedule "A" attached hereto forms part of this By-law. 4. This By-law shall take effect on the final passing thereof, subject to the provisions of the Planning Act, as amended.
