06 07 2017 2017-ZBA-04 (Braestone Development Corporation)4% Notice of Receipt of a Complete Application Notice of Particulars and Public Access ONotice of Public Meeting for a Proposed Amendment to the Zoning By-law of the Township of Oro-Medonte 2017-ZBA-04 (Braestone Development Corporation) Take notice that the Township of Oro-Medonte deemed the following application to amend Zoning By-law No. 97-95, as amended, a "Complete Application' pursuant to the Planning Act on the 16 day of April, 2017. Public Meeting: And take notice that the Development Services Committee of the Corporation of the Township of Oro-Medonte will hold a Public Meeting on Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at 5:30 p.m. in the Municipal Council Chambers, 148 Line 7 South, Oro-Medonte. The purpose of the Public Meeting is to notify the public and to obtain public comments on a proposed Amendment to the Zoning By-law. Location: The subject lands are described as Part of the East and West Halves of Lots 2 and 3, Concession 9 and Lots 1 to 59, inclusive, Registered Plan 51 M-1070. A key map illustrating the location of the subject lands affected by the Amendment is included with this Notice. Purpose: The purpose and effect of the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment is to amend the Residential One Exception 75 (R1 *75) Zone to include provisions that would permit detached accessory buildings and structures to be constructed to a maximum floor area of 150 square metres (1,615 square feet). Have Your Say: Any person may attend the public meeting and/or make written or verbal representation either in support of, or in opposition to, the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment. Written comments by any person unable to attend the meeting should be mailed/faxed/e-mailed to the Secretary - Treasurer, The Corporation of the Township of Oro-Medonte to be received no later than 12:00 p.m. noon on June 2, 2017. Please ensure that you include your name and address so that you may be contacted if necessary. If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at the public meeting or make written submissions to the Secretary -Treasurer, The Corporation of the Township of Oro-Medonte before the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment is passed or refused, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision of the Council of the Township of Oro-Medonte to the Ontario Municipal Board and may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Municipal Board unless, in the opinion of the Board, there are reasonable grounds to do so. The application is part of the public record and is available to the public for viewing/inspection between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at the Township of Oro-Medonte Administration Building and available on the Township's website www.oro-medonte.ce. We understand that the purpose and effect of the proposed Zoning by-law Amendment is to amend the Residential one Exception 75 (R1*75) zone to include provisions that would permit detached accessory buildings and structures to be constructed to a maximum floor area of 150 square metres (1,615 square feet).
