Public Meetings: a) Notice of Receipt of a Complete Application, Notice of Particulars and Public Access, Notice of Public Meeting for a Proposed Amendment to the Zoning By -Law of the Township of Oro-Medonte, Part of the East and West Halves of Lots 2 and 3, Concession 9 and Lots 1 to 59, inclusive, Registered Plan 51 M-1070, 2017-ZBA-04 (Braestone Development Corporation). Mayor H.S. Hughes called the meeting to order at 5:33 p.m. and explained the public meeting is being is being held in accordance with Section 34, of the Planning Act, to obtain public comment with respect to a proposed Zoning Amendment Application. The purpose of Application 2017-ZBA-04 is to amend the Residential One Exception 75 (R1 "75) Zone to include provisions that would permit detached accessory buildings and structures to be constructed to a maximum floor area of 150 square metres (1,615 square feet). Notice of the Public Meeting was circulated to the appropriate Agencies and posted on the Township's website on or before May 10, 2017. The following correspondence was received: Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority dated May 23, 2017; Township of Oro-Medonte, Manager, Development Engineering dated June 2, 2017. Andy Karaiskakis, Senior Planner explained the purpose and effect of the proposed amendment. A PowerPoint presentation was presented. Eldon Theodore, MHBC Planning Limited, on behalf of the applicant, presented an overview. The following public persons offered verbal comments with respect to the proposed amendment: None.
