Notice of Public Meeting for a Proposed Amendment to the Zoning By -Law of the

(Medonte), Township of Oro-Medonte, 2017-ZBA-02, (Carol Gray).
Deputy Mayor Hough called the meeting to order at 5:33 p.m. and explained the public
meeting is being is being held in accordance with Section 34, of the Planning Act, to
obtain public comment with respect to a proposed Zoning Amendment Application. The
purpose of Application 2017-ZBA-02 is to permit an accessory apartment dwelling unit
which is to be located in a detached accessory building on the same lot on which there
is an existing single detached dwelling.
Notice of the Public Meeting was circulated to the appropriate Agencies and posted on
the Township's website on or before April 10, 2017.
The following correspondence was received: Simcoe County District School Board
dated April 13, 2017; Township of Oro-Medonte, Manager, Development Engineering
dated April 19, 2017; Sarah Clarke dated May 3, 2017.
Derek Witlib, Manager, Planning Services explained the purpose and effect of the

2. The Development Services Committee grant provisional consent to Application
2017-B-16 being to permit a boundary adjustment of a 0.58 hectares (1.44 acre)
parcel, subject to the following conditions:
a) That the severed lands, be merged in title with the abutting property to the west
at 5395 Line 8 North;
b) That Section 50(3) and 50(5) shall apply to any subsequent conveyance of, or
other transaction involving, the identical subject parcel of land. Therefore, once
the subject parcel of land has been conveyed to the owner of the abutting parcel
to the west, the subject parcel and the said abutting parcel shall merge in title
and become one parcel of land. A solicitor's written undertaking shall be
provided to the Secretary -Treasurer indicating that the necessary steps will be
