Public Meetings: a) Notice of Receipt of a Complete Application, Notice of Particulars and Public Access, Notice of Public Meeting for a Proposed Amendment to the Zoning By -Law of the Township of Oro-Medonte, 3679 Line 8 North, South Part of Lot 3, Concession 9 (Medonte), Township of Oro-Medonte, 2017-ZBA-02, (Carol Gray). Deputy Mayor Hough called the meeting to order at 5:33 p.m. and explained the public meeting is being is being held in accordance with Section 34, of the Planning Act, to obtain public comment with respect to a proposed Zoning Amendment Application. The purpose of Application 2017-ZBA-02 is to permit an accessory apartment dwelling unit which is to be located in a detached accessory building on the same lot on which there is an existing single detached dwelling. Notice of the Public Meeting was circulated to the appropriate Agencies and posted on the Township's website on or before April 10, 2017. The following correspondence was received: Simcoe County District School Board dated April 13, 2017; Township of Oro-Medonte, Manager, Development Engineering dated April 19, 2017; Sarah Clarke dated May 3, 2017. Derek Witlib, Manager, Planning Services explained the purpose and effect of the proposed amendment. A PowerPoint presentation was presented. Jamie Robinson, MHBC Planning Limited, on behalf of the applicant, presented an overview. A PowerPoint presentation was presented. The following public persons offered verbal comments with respect to the proposed amendment: None.
