That the correspondence presented by David McKee, President, 1182631 Ontario Limited re: Request for 2013, 2014 and 2015 Reassessed Tax Amounts Relief be received. 2. And Whereas the 2013, 2014 and 2015 Reassessed Tax Amounts include 3 components, being Township $4,351.50, County $3,455.16 and Education $11,129.86, for a total of $18,936.52. 3. And Whereas the interest charged to date is $3,412.98. 4. Now Therefore Be it Resolved That the accrued interest be waived in the amount of $3,412.98. 5. And that the applicant be advised of Council's decision under the Deputy Treasurer's signature. Carried. Motion No. C170111 -1 0 Moved by Macpherson, Seconded by Crawford Be it resolved that in support of the Township's Strategic Goal of Balanced Growth, and the local Business Community within the Township of Oro-Medonte, the Township forward correspondence, under the Mayor's signature, to the Premier of Ontario and the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) outlining the Township's concerns over the impacts to businesses, such as 1182631 Ontario Limited, with respect to the 3 year tax reassessment process undertaken by MPAC.
