Public Meetings: a) Notice of Receipt of Complete Application, Notice of Particulars and Public Access, Notice of Public Meeting for a Proposed Draft Plan of Subdivision of the Township of Oro-Medonte, South Side of Old Barrie Road (County Road 11) in the settlement area of Edgar, Part West Half of Lot 11, Concession 5 (Oro), 2006 -SUB -02, 2479283 Ontario Inc. Deputy Mayor Hough called the meeting to order at 5:33 p.m. and explained the public meeting is being held in accordance with Section 51, of the Planning Act, to obtain public comment with respect to a proposed Development Application. The purpose of Application 2006 -SUB -02 is to consider a proposal to create a subdivision for the purpose of constructing 14 single detached dwellings. This application was originally submitted and approved in 2006, however, the application has since lapsed and therefore, the applicant has resubmitted a "new" application. Notice of the Public Meeting was mailed to landowners within 120 metres of the specified site on November 8, 2016 and a notice sign was posted on the subject property on or before November 8, 2016. The following correspondence was received: County of Simcoe, Transportation & Engineering Division dated November 17, 2016; Township of Oro-Medonte Development Engineering dated November 21, 2016. Todd Weatherell, Intermediate Planner, explained the purpose and effect of the proposed amendment. A PowerPoint presentation was presented. Michelle Cutts, Rudy & Associates, representing the applicant, provided an overview. A PowerPoint presentation was presented. The following public persons offered verbal comments with respect to the proposed amendment: None. Deputy Mayor Hough advised that additional deputations to the Committee or Council regarding this application may be permitted, but only for the introduction to new information not already presented through the Public Meeting process.
