b) Notice of Receipt of a Complete Application, Notice of Particulars and Public
Access, Notice of Public Meeting for Proposed Amendment to the Zoning By -Law,
1705 Mount St. Louis Road East (Medonte), Township of Oro-Medonte, 2016-ZBA-
03 (Cahiague Farms Inc.).
Deputy Mayor Hough called the meeting to order at 7:22 p.m. and explained the public
meeting has been called in accordance with Section 34, of the Planning Act, to obtain
public comment with respect to a proposed Development Application. Zoning By-law
Amendment application 2016-ZBA-03 proposes to rezone the lands located at 1705
Mount St. Louis Road East from Agricultural/Rural (A/RU) to a site specific
Agricultural/Rural Exception (A/RU*##) Zone on the lands located at 1705 Mount St.
Louis Road East.
Notice of the Public Meeting was mailed to landowners within 120 metres of the
specified site on March 18, 2016 and a notice sign was posted on the subject property
on or before March 18, 2016.
The following correspondence was received: Simcoe County District School Board
dated March 16, 2016; Township of Oro-Medonte Building Division dated March 18,
2016; Walter Dickie email dated April 3, 2016 and correspondence dated March 29,
2016; Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority dated April 4, 2016; John Bleasby
dated April 4, 2016.
Derek Witlib, Manager, Planning Services explained the purpose and effect of the
proposed amendment. A PowerPoint presentation was presented.
Brian Pearson, applicant, presented an overview. ,
Josh Morgan, Morgan Planning & Development Inc., on behalf of the applicant,
presented an overview.

The following public persons offered verbal comments with respect to the proposed
amendment: William Broerken; John Bleasby; David Dandy; Lindsay Jollifee; Bill
Standen; Amanda Gray; Elizabeth Johnstone; Chris Russell, Barb Broerken, Tom
Johnstone, Hugh Brown.
Deputy Mayor Hough advised that additional deputations to the Committee or Council
regarding this application may be permitted, but only for the introduction to new
information not already presented through the Public Meeting process.
