Item 5a) was dealt with in conjunction with Item 6a).
Deputy Mayor Hough called the meeting to order at 5:33 p.m. and explained the public
meeting has been called in accordance with Sections 34, 53 and 54 of the Planning Act,
to obtain public comment with respect to a proposed Development Application.
Consent application 2016-B-01 proposes the creation of one (1) lot for future single
detached residential use on the lands located at 257 Moonstone Road East. Zoning By-
law Amendment application 2016-ZBA-02 proposes to rezone the severed parcel from
Local Commercial (LC) Zone to Residential One Exception (R1 *##) Zone.
Notice of the Public Meeting was mailed to landowners within 120 metres of the site on
March 21, 2016 and a notice sign was posted on the subject property on or before
March 21, 2016.
The following correspondence was received: Simcoe County District School Board
dated March 16 and March 22, 2016; Daniel Parr dated March 25, 2016; Bell Canada,
Right of Way dated March 21, 2016; Peter and Denise Osborne received March 30,
2016; Justin Laquerre received March 30, 2016; Township of Oro-Medonte
Transportation & Environmental Services dated March 16, and March 24, 2016;
Township of Oro-Medonte Building Division dated March 18, 2016; County of Simcoe
dated March 24, 2016; Sherri & Derek Seibel received April 6, 2016.

Derek Witlib, Manager, Planning Services explained the purpose and effect of the
proposed amendment. A PowerPoint presentation was presented.
Applicants, Jess and Mark Coughlin presented an overview.
Refer to Item 6a) for public comments.
Deputy Mayor Hough advised that additional deputations to the Committee or Council
regarding this application may be permitted, but only for the introduction to new
information not already presented through the Public Meeting process.

website.
There being no further comments or questions, the meeting adjourned at 6:21 p.m.
