a) Public Meeting re: Proposed Building Permit Fee Schedule Revisions [Refer to Items
12c and 17c)].
Deputy Mayor Hough called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m. and explained the public
meeting has been called under the authority of the Building Code Act, Section 7.-(6),
S.O. 1992, c.23 as amended, to obtain public comment with respect to proposed
amendments to the Fees and Charges By -Law.
Notice of the Public Meeting was placed in the Orillia Packet & Time, Barrie Examiner
newspapers in March 2016 and posted on the Township's website.
The following correspondence was received: None.
Andria Leigh, Director, Development Services explained the purpose and effect of the
proposed amendments.
The following public persons offered verbal comments with respect to the proposed
amendments: None.
Deputy Mayor Hough advised that no additional deputations to Council will be permitted
with respect to the proposed amendments.
A digital recording of the meeting is available for review through the Township's
website.
There being no further comments or questions, the meeting adjourned at 7:09 p.m.

Apparatus (SCBA) be received and adopted.
2. That the Township of Oro-Medonte Fire & Emergency Services be authorized to
participate in a group purchase for the SCBA equipment with Township of Tay and
Town of Midland Fire departments.
3. That Council approve the leasing of the SCBA equipment, as outlined in Option # 3
of Report No. FD2016-03.
4. That the Mayor & Clerk execute the appropriate documentation.
5. And That the Fire Chief proceed accordingly.

amount of $71,800 (excluding HST).

Georgian Bay Clean Up Fund.

Be it resolved
1. That the petition correspondence to the House of Commons in Parliament
Assembled and presented by Councillor Macpherson, re: Renewal Funding for the
Lake Simcoe/South-Eastern Georgian Bay Clean Up Fund be received.
2. And Whereas the funding for the Lake Simcoe/South-Eastern Georgian Bay Clean
Up Fund will end in 2017, marking an end to ten successful years of rehabilitating
the health of the lakes, rivers and streams in the region.
3. And Whereas it is imperative that funding is renewed to build upon the success of
the last ten years.
4. Therefore, the Township of Oro-Medonte petitions the House of Commons in
Parliament Assembled to respectfully request that renewed funding to support the
cleanup efforts in Lake Simcoe and South Eastern Georgian Bay continue.
5. And That Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister; Catherine McKenna, Minister of the
Environment and Climate Change; Alex Nuttall, MP, Barrie-Springwater-Oro-
Medonte; Bruce Stanton, MP, Simcoe North; the County of Simcoe County Council;
Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority Board of Directors, and Lake Simcoe
