Call to Order - Moment of Reflection: Mayor H.S. Hughes assumed the Chair and called the meeting to order followed by a moment of reflection. 2. Adoption of Agenda: a) Motion to Adopt the Agenda. Motion No. SC160304-1 Moved by Jermey, Seconded by Hall Be it resolved that the agenda for the Special Council meeting of Friday, March 4, 2016 be received and adopted. Carried. Motion No. SC160304-2 Moved by Crawford, Seconded by Jermey Be it resolved that we do now go in Closed Session at 12:36 p.m. to discuss • litigation affecting the municipality (Burl's Creek); • labour relations/employee negotiations (Collective Bargaining). Carried. b) Motion to Rise and Report. Motion No. SC160304-3 Moved by Jermey, Seconded by Crawford Be it resolved that we do now Rise at 3:11 p.m. and Report on the Closed Session Items 4 c) Robin Dunn, CAO re: Litigation affecting the municipality (Burl's Creek); d) Robin Dunn, CAO re: Labour relations/employee negotiations (Collective Bargaining). And That the Township Solicitor proceed as outlined. Carried. Council moved back to Chambers for Item 4d) d) Robin Dunn, CAO re: Labour relations/employee negotiations (Collective Bargaining). That the confidential information presented by Robin Dunn, CAO and the Negotiation Team re: Labour relations/employee negotiations (Collective Bargaining) be received. 2. Motion No. SC160304-6 Moved by Crawford, Seconded by Hall Be it resolved that By -Law No. 2016-027: Being a by-law to confirm the proceedings of the Special Council meeting held on Friday, March 4, 2016 be read a first, second and third time, passed, be engrossed by the Clerk, signed and sealed by the Mayor.
