2015 Annual Update
MESSAGE FROM THE BOARD
Message from the Chair
As Chair of the Lake Simcoe Regional Airport (LSRA), I am proud of the many accomplishments we have
made. Over the past 24 months, the Lake Simcoe Regional Airport garnished a combined and cumulative
total of $8.55 million of private investment and reinvestment.
We continue to see an upward trend in corporate jet owners re-locating to LSRA, thanks to our prime location
the many achievements this year. Our success is also in large part due to the partnership of three local
governments: The City of Barrie, Township of Oro-Medonte and the County of Simcoe. Their leadership has
helped us to grow business at the airport and provide a valuable service and economic engine for our area.
LSRA continues to be one of the top-ten busiest airports of its size and category in Canada and I have no
doubt that our success will continue to breed more growth and opportunity in the years to come. I am proud
to highlight LSRAs success from this past year.
