In the absence of the Chair, Mayor H.S. Hughes assumed the Chair and called the meeting
to order.

It is recommended that the agenda for the Accessibility Advisory Committee meeting of

It is recommended that the draft minutes of Accessibility Advisory Committee meeting held
on Monday, July 6, 2015 be received and adopted as printed and circulated.

meeting].

1. That the information presented by Donna Hewitt, Director, Corporate and Strategic
Initiatives, re: Review of Township Owned Facilities, re: Follow up to the Monday June 8
and 22, 2015 Accessibility Advisory Committee site visits be received.
2. And That the recommendations of the Accessibility Advisory Committee be integrated into
the 2015 Accessibility Plan for Council's consideration.

Advisory Committee meeting].

c) Accessibility Advisory Committee, re: By -Law No. 2011-027, A By -Law to Continue an
Accessibility Advisory Committee - Review of Mandate.

It is recommended
1. That the verbal information presented by the Accessibility Advisory Committee, re: By -
Law No. 2011-027, A By -Law to Continue an Accessibility Advisory Committee - Review
of Mandate be received.
2. And That the Accessibility Advisory Committee recommends to Council that By -Law No.
2011-027, A By -Law to Continue an Accessibility Advisory Committee be amended to add
to the Mandate:
That, at the discretion of the Chief Building Official, that the Accessibility Advisory
Committee be requested to comment on applicable applications and developments.

d) Donna Hewitt, Director, Corporate and Strategic Initiatives, re: Age -Friendly Community
Planning Grant.

It is recommended
1. That the verbal information presented by Donna Hewitt, Director, Corporate and Strategic
Initiatives, re: Age -Friendly Community Planning Grant be received.
2. And That the Accessibility Advisory Committee recommends to Council that Doug
Humphries and Christina Sanford be appointed to the Community Committee as the
Accessibility Advisory Committee's representative.
