P. 13 on the 1 O1 day of June, 2015. Take notice that the Development Services Committee of the Township of Om- Medonte will hold a Public Meeting on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at 5:45 p.m. in the Municipal Council Chambers. The purpose of the Public Meeting is to obtain public comments on a proposed Amendment to the Zoning By-law, under Section 34 of the Planning Act, B.S.O. 1990 c. P. 13. The subject lands are located in Plan 626. Lot 225, formerly in the Township of Oro, in the Township of Oro-Medonte; municipally known as 48 Stanley Avenue. The subject property is designated Shoreline in the Township's Official Plan and is zoned Local Commercial Exception 12 (LC -12) Zone which only permits convenience retail stores and personal service shops. The purpose and effect of the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment is to amend the LC -12 zoning of the subject lands in the Township's Zoning By-law 97-95 to further amend the exception to add single detached dwelling as a permitted use (within an existing building) and to recognize the setback of an existing porch. A key map illustrating the location of the subject lands, and a copy of the applicants site plan including the lands to be rezoned are included with this notice. And take further notice that pursuant to Section 34 (10 7) of the Planning Act, the Application is part of the public record and is available to the public for viewing/inspection between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.mat the Township of Ora-Medonte Administration Building. Any person wishing further information or clarification with regard M the application or to arrange to inspect the application should contact the Planning Division at 705-487-2171. If you are submitting letters, faxes, smalls, presentations or other communications with the Township concerning this application, you should be aware that your name and the fact that you communicated with the Township will become pad of the public record. The Township will also make your communication and any personal information in it available to the public, unless you expressly request the Township to remove it. Any person may attend the public meeting and/or make written or verbal representation either in support of, or in opposition to, the proposed Amendment. If a person or public body that files an appeal of a decision of the Township of Ora-Medonte in respect of the proposed Amendment does not make oral submission at the Public Meeting, or make written submissions to the Township before the proposed Amendment is adopted, the Ontario Municipal Board may dismiss all or part of the appeal. If you wish to be notified of the decision of the Township of Oro-Medonte in respect to the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment, you must make a written request.
