Public Meetings: a) Proposed Amendment to the Zoning By -Law, 2015-ZBA-08 (Read), Concession 14, Easi Part Lot 9, formerly in the Township of Oro, municipally known as 1004 Line 14 North, re: Amendment to permit the construction of a Garden Suite on the subject property, on a temporary basis for a period of 10 years, as provided for under the Planning Act [Refer to Item 8c)]. Deputy Mayor Hough called the meeting to order at 5:34 p.m. and explained the public meeting has been called under the authority of the Planning Act, Section 34, R.S.O. 1990 c. P.13, to obtain public comment with respect to an application to permit the construction of a Garden Suite on the subject property, on a temporary basis for a period of 10 years. Notice of the Public Meeting was mailed to landowners within 120m (400 feet) of the specified site on June 24, 2015 and a sign posted on the subject property on June 24, 2015. The following correspondence was received: Simcoe County District School Board, dated June 30, 2015. Adrianna Spinosa, Planner, explained the purpose and effect of the proposed amendment. A PowerPoint presentation was presented. The following public persons offered verbal comments with respect to the proposed amendment: None. Deputy Mayor Hough advised that no additional deputations to Council will be permitted with respect to the proposed amendment. Deputy Mayor Hough called the meeting to order at 5:45 p.m. and explained the public meeting has been called under the authority of the Planning Act, Section 34, R.S.O. 1990 c. P.13, to obtain public comment with respect to an application to Amend the LC*12 zoning of the subject lands to further amend the exception to add a single detached dwelling as a permitted use (within an existing building) and to recognize the setback of an existing porch.
