By -Law No. 2015 -082
A By -law to Amend By -law 2015 -073, "Being a By -law to Appoint Municipal Law
Enforcement Officers /Provincial Offences Officers"
Whereas the Municipal Act 2001, S.O. 2001, c. 25, Section 224, as amended, provides
that the role of Council is to ensure that administrative practices are in place to
implement the decisions of Council;
And Whereas the Police Services Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P. 15, Section 15,
provides the appointment of Municipal Law Enforcement Officers for the purpose of
enforcing by -laws of a municipality;
And Whereas the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Oro - Medonte did on
the 22nd day of April, 2015, enact By -law No. 2015 -073, "Being a By -law to Appoint
Municipal Law Enforcement Officers /Provincial Offences Officers ";
And Whereas the Council of The Corporation of the Township of Oro - Medonte does
now find it expedient to further amend By -law 2015 -073;
Now Therefore the Council of the Township of Oro - Medonte hereby enacts as follows:
That Schedule "A" of By -Law No. 2015 -073 be amended by adding "Jason Craig ".
2. That the amendment to Schedule "A" be effective from April 27, 2015 to December
31, 2015.
3. And That this by -law shall take effect on the final passing thereof.
