1. Call to Order- Private Prayer /Moment of Reflection:
Mayor H.S. Hughes assumed the Chair and called the meeting to order followed by a
private prayer /moment of reflection.
2. Adoption of Agenda:
a) Motion to Adopt the Agenda.

Be it resolved that the agenda for the Special Council meeting of Wednesday, February
18, 2015 be received and adopted.

3. Disclosure of Pecuniary Interest:
None declared.
4. Reports of Municipal Officers:
a) Robin Dunn, CAO and Senior Management Team re: 2015 Budget Deliberations.
A PowerPoint presentation and correspondence were presented.
Mayor H.S. Hughes,turned Chair to Deputy Mayor Hough in order to second the motion.
Council recessed at 12:35, p.m. and reconvened at 1:05 p.m.

Be it resolved
1. That Council supports the recommendations outlined in the February 18, 2015
memorandum correspondence presented by Robin Dunn, CAO, to achieve an
overall tax increase of 3.77 %.
2. And That the amended 2015 Budget be presented for Council ratification at the
Council meeting of February 25, 2015.

Be it resolved that Council supports an overall tax increase of 3.00 %.

Be it resolved that the CAO report back to Council identifying the budget adjustments
which achieve an overall tax increase of 3.00 %.

Be it resolved that the correspondence identifying the 2015 Budget Adjustments to
February 11, 2015 and presented by Paul Gravelle, Director, Finance/Treasurer /Deputy

Council meeting held on Wednesday, February 18, 2015.

Be it resolved that By -Law No. 2015 -035: Being a by -law to confirm the proceedings of
the Special Council meeting held on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 be read a first,
second and third time, passed, be engrossed by the Clerk, signed and sealed by the
Mayor.
