By -Law No. 2015 -020
A By -law to Appoint a Representative to the
Orillia & Area Physician Recruitment and to repeal By -Law No. 2012 -195
Whereas Section 224 of the Municipal Act, 2001, S. 0. 2001, c.25, as amended,
provides that the role of Council is to ensure that administrative practices are in place to
implement the decisions of Council.
And Whereas Council of the Township of Oro - Medonte appoints representatives to
various committees /organizations and technical support groups.
And Whereas the Council for The Corporation of the Township of Oro - Medonte
declared by Motion No. C1 50114-20, to appoint a member to the Orillia & Area
Physician Recruitment.
And Whereas the Council of The Corporation of the Township of Oro - Medonte deems it
desirable to pass a by -law to appoint such a committee member.
Now Therefore the Council of the Township of Oro - Medonte hereby enacts as follows:
1. That the following member be appointed to the Orillia & Area Physician Recruitment:
Councillor John Crawford.
2. That the appointment outlined in (1) above be for the 2015 -2016 term.
3. That By -Law No. 2012 -195 is hereby repealed in its entirety.
4. And This by -law shall take effect on January 1, 2015.
