U-4 for I=yr.,e Notice of Public Meeting For Proposed Amendment To The Zoning By -Law Of The Township of Oro-Medonte 2014-ZBA-17 (Piotrowski) Take notice that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Oro-Medonte will hold a Public Meeting on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at 7:00 pm in the Municipal Council Chambers. The purpose of the Public Meeting is to obtain public comments on a proposed Amendment to the Zoning By-law, under Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990 c. P. 13. The purpose of the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment is to amend the zoning of the lands located at 425 Line 2 South, Concession 3 West Part Lot 23, formerly in the Township of Oro, in the Township of Oro-Medonte. The Amendment has been requested in order to comply with a condition imposed by the Township's Committee of Adjustment with respect to Consent Application 2014-B-12. The subject lands are presently zoned Agricultural/Rural (A/RU) and Environmental Protection (EP) Zone. The [retained] portion of the lands presently zoned Agricultural/Rural (A/RU) is proposed to be rezoned to a site-specific Agricultural/Rural Exception # (A/RU"#) Zone to prohibit residential use. The [severed] portion of the lands presently zoned Agricultural/Rural (A/RU) is not subject to rezoning and will result in a 0.824 hectare (2.04 acre) residential lot, zoned Agricultural/Rural (A/RU). A key map illustrating the location of the subject lands, and a copy of the applicant's site plan including the lands to be rezoned are included with this notice. Any person may attend the public meeting and/or make written or verbal representation either in support of, or in opposition to, the proposed Amendment. If a person or public body that files an appeal of a decision of the Township of Oro-Medonte in respect of the proposed Amendment does not make oral submission at the Public Meeting, or make written submissions to the Township before the proposed Amendment is adopted, the Ontario Municipal Board may dismiss all or part of the appeal. If you wish to be notified of the decision_ of the Township of Oro-Medonte in respect to the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment, you must make a written request to the address below.
