TO THE ZONING BY -LAW
OF THE TOWNSHIP OF ORO- MEDONTE

TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Oro - Medonte will hold a
Public Meeting on Wednesday July 16, 2014 at 10:00 am in the Municipal Council Chambers. The
purpose of the Public Meeting is to obtain public comments on a proposed Amendment to the
Zoning By -law, under Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990 c. P. 13.
A KEY MAP illustrating the location of the subject lands, and a copy of the applicant's sketch are
included with this notice.
THE PURPOSE of the proposed Zoning By -law Amendment is to amend the zoning of the lands
located at 1441 15/16 Sideroad Concession 11, East Part Lot 16, RP51R14950, Part 4 (Oro);
Township of Oro - Medonte. Parts 1, 2, 4, 5 as identified on the Applicant's Sketch are to be
rezoned from Agricultural /Rural (A/RU) Zone to Residential One (R1) Zone and Part 3 is to be
rezoned from Agricultural /Rural (A /RU) Zone to Residential One Exception 246 (R1 *246) Zone
to recognize an existing duplex dwelling. The retained lands are to be rezoned from an
Agricultural /Rural (A/RU) Zone to Residential One Exception 247(R1 *247) Zone to permit a lot
frontage of 20 metres on Line 11 North.
The rezoning is required as a condition of Consent Applications 2014 -B -07 — 2014 -B -011.
ANY PERSON may attend the public meeting and /or make written or verbal representation either in
support of, or in opposition to, the proposed Amendment. If a person or public body that files an
appeal of a decision of the Township of Oro - Medonte in respect of the proposed Amendment does
not make oral submission at the Public Meeting, or make written submissions to the Township before
the proposed Amendment is adopted, the Ontario Municipal Board may dismiss all or part of the
appeal.
If you wish to be notified of the decision of the Township of Oro - Medonte in respect to the proposed
Zoning By -law Amendment, you must make a written request to the address below.
