A By-law to Repeal By-law 2013-205 and to allow Temporary Uses on lands
described as follows:
East Part of Lot 16, Concession 14, Parts 1 and 2, on 51 R-30258, Township of
Oro-Medonte, County of Simcoe,
(Municipally known as 5071 Highway 11 North)
under Section 34 and 39 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13, as amended
Roll # 4346-010-012-34400
Whereas the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Oro-Medonte is empowered
to pass By-laws to regulate the use of land pursuant to Section 34 of the Planning Act,
R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13;
And Whereas an application has been submitted to the Township of Oro-Medonte to
establish a use;
And Whereas the Official Plan for the Township of Oro-Medonte contains certain
policies in Section E 1.2 which allow for the establishment of temporary uses;
And Whereas Section 39 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13, as amended, in
accordance with Section 34, provides the authority to establish temporary uses;
Now Therefore the Council of the Township of Oro-Medonte hereby enacts as follows:
Notwithstanding the permitted uses of By-law 97-95, as amended, as they apply
to lands described as East Part Lot 16, Concession 14, 51 R-30258, Parts 1 and
2, as shown of Schedule "A" attached hereto, these lands may be used for the
following uses on a temporary basis:
"Buildings Supply Outlets and Showroom
Business Offices
Custom Workshops
Retail Stores
Building Contractors Supply Outlet
Auction Centre
Contractor's Yard
Warehouses
Outdoor Storage Uses
Equipment Sales Establishment
Banquet Hall
Recreational Vehicle Sales Establishment (Snowmobiles, 44 vehicles)
Construction Equipment Sales Establishment
Swimming Pool and Spa Sales Establishment
Dock and Seasonal Sales Establishment
Motor Vehicle Sales Establishment (for a maximum of 50 vehicles)
Trailer/Recreational Vehicle Sales Establishment (for a maximum of 50 units)
Mobile/Modular Home Sales Establishment (maximum of 5 units)
Service Shops, Light
Accessory Outdoor Display and Sales (maximum of 7)"
2. Schedule "A" attached hereto forms part of this By-law.
3. This By-law shall take effect on the final passing thereof and in accordance with
the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13, and is hereby repealed 3 years from the
date of passing of this By-law.
