The purpose of the Public (Meeting is to obtain public comments on a proposed Amendment to the Zoning By-law, under Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990 c. P. 13. THE PURPOSE of the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment is to amend the zoning of the lands described as Concession 9, East Part of Lot 11 (Oro), Township of Oro-Medonte. The Subject Lands are currently zoned Rural Residential Two (RUR2) and the proposed Amendment would rezone the lands to Agricultural/Rural (A/RU). The Amendment has been requested in order to comply with condition imposed by the Township's Committee of Adjustment with respect to Consent Application 2013-B-07. ANY PERSON may attend the public meeting and/or make written or verbal representation either in support of, or in opposition to, the proposed Amendment.
