PUBLIC MEETINGS: a) 5:30 p.m. Proposed Amendment to the Zoning By -Law, Application 2009- ZBA -18 to 2009- ZBA -23, (Indian Park Association). Mayor H.S. Hughes called the meeting to order at 5:32 p.m. and explained the public meeting has been called under the authority of the Planning Act, Section 34, R.S.O. 1990 c.P.13, to obtain public comment with respect to proposed Amendments to the Zoning By -law, Applications 2009 -ZBA -18 to 2009 -ZBA- 23 inclusive (Indian Park Association), located on Huron Woods Drive, Oneida Avenue and Algonquin Trail, in the Township of Oro - Medonte. Notice of the Public Meeting was mailed to landowners within 120m (400 feet) of the specified site on November 5, 2009 and posted on a sign on the subject property on the same date. The following correspondence was received at the meeting: Simcoe county District School Board dated October 23, 2009; Jamie Hunter, Huronia Museum dated November 6, 2009; Gord Smith dated October 9 and 1, 2009; Neil and Brenda Knelsen received November 24, 2009. Correspondence dated November 25, 2009 from Jim Purnell was received after the meeting. Meghan Keelan, Planner, explained the purpose and effect of the proposed Amendment. A Power Point presentation was presented. Adrian Cammaert, MHBC, on behalf of applicant, provided an overview of the proposed Amendment. A Power Point presentation was presented. The following public persons offered verbal comments with respect to the proposed Amendment: Scott Thomas, Victor Ohinski, Ann Budge, Ursula & Eugenius Grzelak, Adrian Cammaert, Debra Price Sherman. Mayor H.S. Hughes advised that written submissions will be received at the Township office until December 2, 2009 and that no additional deputations to Council will be permitted with respect to the proposed amendment.
