WHEREAS Zoning By-law No. 1031 was enacted to regulate the use of land and the character, location and use of buildings and structures within the Township of Oro; AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Oro-Medonte deems it appropriate to further amend By-law No. 1031, as amended; AND WHEREAS this By-law is in conformity with the Official Plan of the Township of Oro; AND WHEREAS authority is granted pursuant to section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O., 1990 c. P. 13, to the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Oro-Medonte to exercise such powers. (b) Recreational public park or playground. I I section 5.29.10 of By-law 1031, as amended, is hereby repealed and replaced with the following: "5.29.10 Residential Parkina (a) Single family dwelling (b) Duplex/semi-detached dwelling/ triplex (c) Townhouses 2 spaces per unit 2 spaces per unit (d) Walk-ups 1 space space visitor 1 space space visitor per unit plus 1 per 3 units parking per unit plus 1 per 5 units parking." section 13.24 of By-law 1031, as amended, is hereby further amended by renumbering the following 13.24 to 13.26 and adding the following: i' I "13.24 Dwellina, Townhouse (a) Row - means a building divided vertically by a common wall extending from the foundation to the roof into four or more attached dwelling units, each having a separate entrance at grade and each fronting onto a public street designed to full municipal standards. II I (b) Block- are row townhouses which front onto a condominium or private road. 11 I (c) Stacked - means a building divided vertically by a common wall extending from the foundation to the roof into four or more attached dwelling units whereby the dwelling units are also divided horizontally and half the units are stacked on the at grade units. The at grade units shall have a separate entrance at grade, the stacked units shall have access through a stairwell which is either interior or exterior to the structure. There shall be no common hallways. II Ii II 11 \1 II I Notwithstanding the above, the maximum number of attached dwelling units on one floor is 8." Section 13.25 is hereby amended as follows: "13.25 Dwellina, Triplex (a) means a separate building of three (3) or less storeys divided horizontally into not more than three (3) dwelling units, each of which is not completely on a separate storey. Section 13.26 is hereby amended as follows: "13.26 Dwellina, walk-up (a) Three storey - a building consisting of five or more dwelling units which have a common entrance from street level and the occupants have the right to use in common, halls, stairs, and yards but which is not a townhouse and which does not exceed 3 stories or 15 metres in height which ever is the lesser." Additional Uses is hereby amended as follows: "In addition to the uses expressly permitted in any Residential zone, Home Occupation uses as defined in Section 13.35 and as set out below shall be permitted in all Residential zones, excluding three storey walk-Up building in the MDR zone."
