1994-047 To Provide for the Adoption of a Corporate Seal CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF ORO-MEDONTE BY-LAW NO. 94-47 A By-Law to Provide for the Adoption of a corporate Seal WHEREAS the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter M.45, section 8, provides for names of Municipal Corporations; AND WHEREAS the County of simcoe Act, S.O. 1993, section 2.-(1) (j), provides that those portions of the former municipalities of the Township of Oro, Township of Flos, Township of Medonte, Township of orillia and Township of Vespra shall be named the Township of Oro- Medonte, effective January 1, 1994; AND WHEREAS the Interprestations Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter 1.11, section 27 (a), authorizes a Corporation of a body politic and corporate to establish a common seal; NOW THEREFORE the Council of The Corporation of the Township of Oro-Medonte hereby enacts as follows; 1. That the Corporation of the Township of Oro-Medonte adopt a corporate Seal. 2. That the Corporate Seal for the Township of Oro-Medonte shall be in the form impress hereon. 3. That this By-law shall come into force and effect on the 1st day of January, 1994.
