1996-018 Appoint a By-Law Enforcement Officer THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF ORO-MEDONTE BY-LAW NO. 96- 18 a By-Law to Appoint a By-Law Enforcement Officer REAS the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. M.45, section 207, Subsection , provides that a council of a Municipality may by By-law appoint such ficers and servants as may be necessary for the purposes of the poration; WHEREAS the Police Services Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.15, Part 1, tion 15, provides that a municipal council may appoint persons to orce the by-laws of the municipality; THEREFORE the Council of The corporation of the Township of Oro- onte hereby enacts as follows: 1. That employees of The Corporation of the Township of Oro-Medonte as designated by the Chief By-law Enforcement Officer are appointed By-law Enforcement Officers for the purposes of parking infractions. 2.
