FROM STORAGE TO WELDING WHICH THE OWNER, MR MILLS, SUGGESTED TO US IF STACEY ELECTRIC (THE COMPANY HE WORKS FOR) DOES NOT WANT TO RENT THE BUILDING HE WANTS TO BUILD. WHY WOULD STACEY ELECTRIC WANT TO RENT A BUILDING FROM ONE OF IT'S EMPLOYEE'S INSTEAD OF BUYING /BUILDING THEIR OWN IS BEYOND ANY LOGICAL THINKING. WHY NOT RENT THE LONG -EMPTY SADLON CAR DEALER BUILDING AVAILABLE @5243 HWY 11 THAT ALREADY EXISTS IF THEY ARE LOOKING FOR STORAGE. NOT NEXT DOOR TO A RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY. WE MOVED HERE TO ENJOY A FEW GOOD YEARS OF PEACEFUL, QUIETER LIVING THAT RETIREES LOOK FORWARD TO AND HAVE WORKED MANY YEARS TO DO SO BEFORE WE HAVE TO MAKE THE DECISION TO CHANGE TO TOWN LIVING. CERTAINLY, LIVING BESIDE A WELDING SHOP OR ANY OTHER NOISING ENVIRONMENT WAS NOT IN OUR FUTURE https:Hsntl 16.mail.live.com/mail/PrintMessaizes.aSDX?CDids=c877f4le-6577-1 l e2- bb45 -00... 1'/23/2013 Hotmail Print Message Page 2 of 3 PLANS. I WAS AN IRONWORKER FOR 25 YEARS AND KNOW FIRST HAND THE NOISE LEVEL THAT CAN BE GENERATED FROM SUCH A SHOP. BECAUSE OF SUCH NOISE, I HAVE 30% HEARING LOSE AND WEAR' HEARING AIDES BECAUSE OF THE NOISE LEVEL I ENDURED. WE FEEL IT IS NOT LOGICAL TO PUT AN INDUSTRIAL EXISTING BUILDING SO CLOSE TO SOMEONE'S ALREADY HOME WHERE ORO MEDONTE HAS SO MANY AREAS ZONED OR THIS PURPOSE. ON JANUARY 14TH, MR MILLS WAS IN OUR HOME TO INFORM US WHAT HE WANTS TO DO WITH THE PROPERTY. HE ALSO SAID THAT HIS FAMILY WILL MORE THAN LIKELY STAY IN HORSESHOE VALLEY BECAUSE THAT IS WHRE HIS WIFE WANTS TO LIVE AND HIS CHILDREN WILL BE WITH THEIR FRIENDS. THERE IS OVER 30 CHILDREN ON HIS STREET - ZERO MERE. HIS DAUGHTER WILL ALSO HAVE TO CHANGE SCHOOLS. HE ALSO TOLD US THAT HE WILL END UP SELLrNG THE HOUSE ON THE PROPERTY BECAUSE HE WOULD NOT WANT TO RENT OUT A HOUSE THAT HAS A COMPLETELY NEW ADDITION PUT ON. IT WOULD BE BETTER TO SELL. HIS FIRST INTENTION WHEN HE BOUGHT 57 LINE 7 N, HE TOLD US, WAS TO TURN IT INTO A RENTAL AS HE HAS OTHER RENTALS IN BARRIE. IT SEEMS THAT MR MILL'S INTENDS TO SEVERE THE PROPERTY HIS HOUSE SITS ON AND TO RENT /SELL THE 5 ACRES THAT HE WANTS TO CHANGE FROM A /RU *32 TO OFFICE /INDUSTRIAL. IF THIS IS THE CASE, HOW https://sntl 16. mail. live. com / mail/ PrintMessaizes .aSDX ?cpids= c877f4l e- 6577 -11 e2- bb45 -00... 1/23/2013 Hotmail Print Message Page 3 of 3 CAN HE STAND BEFORE US AND GUARANTEE THAT WHOMEVER RENTS /BUYS THE EXISTING 5 ACRES THAT HIS "NEW BUILDING" WILL SIT ON, WILL NOT GENERATE UNSAFE NOISE, MORE TRAFFIC DUE TO HIS NEW DRIVEWAY AND WILL NOT WORK DURING OFF HOURS. I.E. EVENINGS, NIGHTS, WEEKENDS, HOLIDAYS. ABSOLUTELY NO ONE CAN MAKE ANY GUARANTEE OF AN UNKNOWN FUTURE SUCH AS THAT. IF THIS REZONING GOES THROUGH, AND HOPEFULLY IT WILL NOT, WE WANT THE HIGHEST AND BEST SOUND BARRIER POSSIBLE, WITH MR MILLS TAKING THE FULL RESPONSIBILITY OF ALL EXPENSES, THE FULL LENGTH OF THE PROPERTY. WE DON'T WANT OUR COUNTRY LIVING CHANGED. MAYBE MR MILLS CAN BUILD NEXT DOOR TO ANY OF THE COUNCIL MEMBERS. htt-Ds://snt116. mail. live. com / mail/ PrintMessaaes .aSDX ?cnids= c877f41 e- 6577 -11 e2- bb45 -00... 1/23/2013 0 S ®j cd Qcn`c, , County of Simcoer M Highway Aerial Photos flown in the spring of 2012 Major Road Ramp Local Road — Unassumed and Seasonal Road This map, either in whole or in part, may not be reproduced without the written authority from © The Corporation of the County of Simcoe.
