1996-113 THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF ORO-MEDONTE BY-LAW NO. 96-113 Being a By-law to Amend By-law No. 96-18 WHEREAS the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1990, C. M.45, Section 207, Subsection 45, provides that a Council of a Municipality may by By- law appoint such officers and servants as may be necessary for the purposes of the Corporation; AND WHEREAS the Police Services Act, R.S.O. 1990, C. P.1S, Part 1, Section 15, provides that a municipal council may appoint persons to enforce the by-laws of the municipality; AND WHEREAS the Council of The Corporation of the Township of Oro- Medonte did pass By-Law No. 96-18 on March 6, 1996; AND WHEREAS the Council of The Corporation of the Township of Oro- Medonte deems it appropriate to amend By-Law No. 96-18; NOW THEREFORE the Council of The Corporation of the Township of Oro-Medonte hereby enacts as follows: 1. That Section 1 shall be deleted in its entirety and replaced with the following: That persons as designated by the Chief By-Law Enforcement Officer of The Corporation of the Township of Oro-Medonte are appointed By-law Enforcement Officers for the purposes of parking infractions. 2. That this By-law shall come into full force and effect on its final passing thereof. By-Law read a first and second time this 20th day of November, 1996. By-Law read a third time and finally passed this 20th day of November, 1996.
