1999-122 THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF ORO-MEDONTE BY-LAW NO. 1999-122 A BY-LAW TO AMEND BY-LAW NO. 1999-82, ( A BY-LAW TO ADOPT THE ESTIMATES OF ALL AMOUNTS REQUIRED DURING THE YEAR AND FOR LEVYING THE TAX RATES FOR THE YEAR 1999). e WHEREAS By-law No. 1999-82 was passed on July 21, 1999; AND WHEREAS the County of Simcoe subsequently passed By-law No.4520 to repeal By-law No. 4505 establishing the Education tax rates for 1999 due to an error in the calculation of the Education tax rates for the Industrial Vacant Classes for 1999; AND WHEREAS the determination ofthe adjustments to taxes for capped classes pursuant to Bill 79 were delayed necessitating a different due date for the capped classes; AND WHEREAS By-law No.1999-82 must be amended accordingly; NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Township ofOro-Medonte enacts as follows: 1. That Section 1 be deleted in its entirety and replaced with the following: That the estimates of Expenditures required during the year 1999 for the purposes of the municipality shall be adopted as follows: General Government Local Boards and Commissions Fire and Emergency Police Building, By-Law and Planning Public Works and Municipal Drains Street Lighting Water Works Systems County Waste Management Arena, Parks and Recreation, and Economic Dev. $ 1,551,293 236,269 931,271 1,416,681 571,510 3,717,718 54,058 426,450 926,015 925,013 Total estimated Expenditures for Local purposes $10,756,278 Requisition from County of Simcoe Requisition from School Boards 4,849,323 7,070,582 Total estimated Expenditures $22,676,183 2. That Section 3 be deleted in its entirety and replaced with the following: That the following amounts shall be raised by taxation within the Township of Oro-Medonte in the year 1999: . That Schedule "A" be deleted in its entirety and replaced with Schedule "A" attached hereto and forming part ofthis By-law. 4. That Section 6 be deleted in its entirety and replaced with the following: .. ' , e . 2 i) That the final tax bill less the interim tax bill be due and payable in two equal installments on or before Wednesday August 25th, 1999 and Wednesday September 22nd, 1999, for Residential/Farm, Farmland, Managed Forest and Pipeline Classes. ii) That the final tax bill less the interim tax bill be due and payable in one installment on or before Thursday December 23rd, 1999 for the Commercial, Industrial and MuIti- Residential classes. 5.
