BY-LAW NO. 99- 110
A By-law to Rezone Part of Lots 1 and 2, Concessions 1 and 2 (Shanty Bay Woodlands
Limited), Township ofOro-Medonte (formerly Township ofOro), County of Simcoe.

WHEREAS Zoning By-law 1997-95 was enacted to regulate the use of land and the character,
location, and use of buildings and structures within the Township of Oro-Medonte;
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Oro-Medonte deems it
appropriate to further amend By-law 1997-95, as amended;
AND WHEREAS this By-law is in conformity with the Official Plan of the Township of Oro-
Medonte;
AND WHEREAS authority is granted pursuant to Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O., 1990 c.
P. 13, to the Council ofthe Corporation of the Township ofOro-Medonte to exercise such powers.
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP
OF ORO-MEDONTE ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. Schedule "AI" of By-law 97-95 for the Township of Oro-Medonte, as amended, is hereby
further amended by rezoning those lands shown on Schedule "A", attached hereto, ITom the
Agricultural/Rural (A/RU) and Environmental Protection (EP) Zones to the Site Specific
Agricultural/Rural (A/RU*133) Zone, the Site Specific Agricultural/Rural (A/RU*134) Zone,
the Site Specific Agricultural/Rural (A/RU*135) Zone, the Site Specific Shoreline Residential
(SR*133) Zone, the Site Specific Shoreline Residential (SR*134) Zone, the Site Specific
Shoreline Residential (SR*135) Zone and the Environmental Protection (EP) Zone.
2. That subsection 7 of By-law 97-95 be and is hereby amended by the addition of the following
subsection:
"7.133 *133 - PART OF LOTS 1 AND 2, CONCESSIONS 1 AND 2
(FORMER ORO)
Notwithstanding any other provision in this By-law, the minimum
lot ITontage required is 45.72 metres (150 feet), and the minimum lot
area required is 1.7 hectares (4.2 acres) on the lands denoted by the
symbol * 133 on the schedule to this By-law. And further
notwithstanding any other provision in this By-law no buildings or
structures are permitted on lands zoned Agricultural/Rural (A/RU)
and denoted by the symbol *133 on the schedule to this By-law.

Notwithstanding any other provision in this By-law, the minimum
lot frontage required is 203.86 metres (668.8 feet), and minimum lot
area required is 9 hectares (22 acres) on the lands denoted by the
symbol *134 on the schedule to this By-law. And further
notwithstanding any other provision in this By-law no buildings or
structures are permitted on lands zoned Agricultural/Rural and
denoted by the symbol * 134 on the schedule to this By-law.

lot ITontage required is 365 metres (1197.5 feet), and minimum lot
area required is 9.3 hectares (23 acres) on the lands denoted by the
symbol *134 on the schedule to this By-law. And further

structures are pennitted on the lands zoned AgriculturallRural
(A/RU) and denoted by the symbol * 135 on the schedule to this By-
law. "
3. Schedule, "A", attached, fonns part ofthis By-law.
4. This By-law shall take effect and come into force pursuant to the provisions of and regulations
made under the Planning Act, R.S.O., 1990 c. P. 13.
