A By-law to sell and convey part of the road allowance located in Part ofthe West Quarter
Lot 2, Part of the West Half Lot 3, Concession 7, Part of the Road Allowance between
Concessions 6 & 7, in the Township ofOro-Medonte (formerly Township ofOro), County
of Simcoe, designated as Parts 2,3,4, 5,6,8,9, 10 and 11, Plan 51R-20018
WHEREAS pursuant to Section 297 of the Municipal Act, RS.O. 1990, c.MA5, Council is
empowered to stop up and close any part of a highway;
AND WHEREAS pursuant to Sections 297 and 315 of the said Municipal Act, Council is
empowered to sell any part of a highway which is legally stopped up and closed;
AND WHEREAS Council of the Township ofOro did pass By-law No. 90-101 on the ih day of
August, 1990 to close, sell and convey part of the Road Allowance between Concession 6 and 7
and Part of Lots 2 and 3, Concession 7, in the Township ofOro and being Parts 2, 3, 4,5,6, 7, 8,
9, 10 & lIon a Reference Plan deposited in the Registry Office for the County of Simcoe as No.
51R-20018.
AND WHEREAS Council of the Township ofOro-Medonte passed a resolution at its Regular
Meeting of Council held Wednesday, January 20th, 1999 to declare the subject land surplus to the
needs of the municipality;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Township ofOro-Medonte hereby enacts as follows:
1. Authorization of Sale Council does hereby authorize the sale of the lands described in
Schedule "A" as follows:

Part 2 on Plan 51R-20018 to the registered owner from time to time of the
abutting land described as Part 1 on Plan 51R-20018;
Part 3 on Plan 51R-20018 to the registered owner from time to time of the
abutting land described as Block A, Plan M-31 and Block A, Plan M-9;
Part 4 on Plan 51R-20018 to the registered owner from time to time of the
abutting land described as Block A, Plan M-9;
Part 5 on Plan 51R-20018 to the registered owner from time to time of the
abutting land described as Lot 100, Plan M-368;
Part 6 on Plan 51R-20018 to the registered owner from time to time of the
abutting land described as Part 1 on Plan 51R-20018;
Part 8 on Plan 51R-20018 to the registered owner from time to time of the
abutting land described as Part 1 on Plan 51R-20018;
Part 9 on Plan 51R-20018 to the registered owner from time to time of the
abutting land described as Lot 100, Plan M-368;
Part 10 on Plan 51R-20018 to the registered owner from time to time of the
abutting land described as Part I on Plan 51R-20018;
Part lion Plan 51R-20018 to Modco Investments Ltd.

2. Sale Price In accordance with Section 315 of the said Municipal Act, this Council
hereby sets the sale price for the lands described in Schedule "A" attached hereto to be as
follows:
(a) $6,976.00 for Part 2 on Plan 51R-20018;
(b) $8,296.00 for Part 3 on Plan 51R-20018;
(c) $ 732.00 for Part 4 on Plan 51R-20018;
(d) $ 488.00 for Part 5 on Plan 51R-20018;
(e) $ 244.00 for Part 6 on Plan 51R-20018;
(f) $2,440.00 for Part 8 on Plan 51R-20018;
(g) $ 488.00 for Part 9 on Plan 51R-20018;
(h) $1,220.00 for Part 10 on Plan 51R-20018;
(i) $1,220.00 for Part 11 on Plan 51R-20018.
3. Execution of Documents - The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to sign all
documents to carry out the intent of this By-law.
By-law read a first and second time this 17th day of March, 1999.
By-law read a third time and finally passed this 17th day of March, 1999.
