1999-016 To accept and dedicate for use as a public highway certain lands within the Township of Oro-Medonte THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF ORO-MEDONTE BY-LAW NO. 99- 16 Being a By-law to accept and dedicate for use as a public highway certain lands within the Township of Oro-Medonte . WHEREAS the Municipal Act, RS.O. 1990, c.M.4S, Section 191(1) authorizes the Council of a municipality to pass by-laws for acquiring any lands required for the purposes of the municipality; AND WHEREAS Section 297(1) of the said Municipal Act, provides for the establishing of highways; AND WHEREAS Council deems it expedient to acquire the hereinafter described lands and to dedicate a portion of the lands for use as a public highway; NOW THEREFORE the Council of The Corporation of the Township ofOro-Medonte hereby enacts as follows: 1. That the acquisition of the lands described as follows for a total consideration of $2.00 be and is hereby authorized and approved: (a) Part of Parcel 60-1, Section 51M-367, being part of Lot 60, Plan 51M-367, designated as Part 1 on Reference Plan 51R-28207, Township ofOro-Medonte (fonnerly Township ofOro), County of Simcoe; (b) Part of parcel 61-1, Section 51M-367, being part of Lot 61, Plan 51M-367, designated as Part 2 on Reference Plan 51R-28207, Township ofOro-Medonte (fonnerly Township ofOro), County of Simcoe; (c) Part of Parcel 62-1, Section 51M-367, being part of Lot 62, Plan 51M-367, designated as Part 3 on Reference Plan 51R-28207, Township ofOro-Medonte (formerly Township of Oro), County of Simcoe; (d) Part of Road Allowance between Concessions 6 and 7, being designated as Parts 9 and 10, on Reference Plan 51R-28207, Township ofOro-Medonte (formerly Township of Oro), County of Simcoe. 2. That upon the completion of a transfer to The Corporation of the Township of Oro- Medonte of the lands described in Paragraph 1 above shall be deemed to be dedicated for use as a public highway. 3. That the Mayor and Clerk be and are hereby authorized to execute all such documentation as may be required to give effect to the foregoing. 4. That this By-law shall come into force and effect on the date of its passing. By-law read a first and second time this 17th day of February, 1999.
