2001-012 To Amend Schedule 'A' of By-Law 2000-097, Lease Agreement between the Corporation of the Township of Oro-Medonte and Nancy Quinlan to allow for use of a portion of Lot 40, Conc. 1 ~... e . . .- ~ 0 THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF ORO-MEDONTE BY-LAW NO. 2001-012 Being a By-law to amend Schedule 'A' of By-law # 2000-97, Lease Agreement between The Corporation of the Township of Oro-Medonte and Nancy Quinlan to allow for the use of a portion of Lot 40, Concession 1, W.P.R. Township of Oro- Medonte, County of Simcoe WHEREAS, Section 191, of the Municipal Act, R.S.O., 1990, c.MA5, as amended, authorizes the Council of a Municipality to acquire (lease) any land required for the purposes of the corporation; AND WHEREAS the Township of Oro-Medonte passed By-law #2000-97 to execute a Lease Agreement with the Owner of lands described as Part of Lot 40, Concession 1, W.P.R., (formerly Township of Vespra), Township of Oro-Medonte, County of Simcoe; AND WHEREAS Schedule" A" of By-law #2000-97 has been amended; NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Oro-Medonte enacts as follows: L That Schedule "A" of By-law #2000-97 is hereby replaced with Schedule "A" attached hereto and forming part of this By-law. 2. That this By-law shall come into full force and effect on its final passing thereof. BY-LAW READ A FIRST AND SECOND TIME THIS 17th DAY OF JANUARY 2001. Robertson ...}.."', , f"-h SCHEDULE" AU THIS lEASE AGREEMENT MADE THIS 17TH DAY OF JANUARY, 2001 BETWEEN: e THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF ORO-MEDONTE hereinafter called the Township of Oro-Medonte - AND - NANCY QUINLAN WHEREAS the Township of Oro-Medonte has used and continues to use, with the express permission of the owner, a portion of Lot 40, Concession 1, W.P.R. (formerly Township of Vespra), Township of Oro-Medonte, County of Simcoe, as outlined in Schedule "1 u, attached hereto and forming part of this Agreement; AND WHEREAS Nancy Quinlan, owner of the lands described in Schedule "1" has requested that the Township of Oro-Medonte enter into a lease agreement for the lands; NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Oro-Medonte enacts as follows: 1. That the Township shall assume complete responsibility for any claim against the owner of the lands shown hatched in on Schedule U 1 U regarding its use by, on behalf of. or with the permission of the Township. 5. The Township shall register this agreement against title to the property owned by Nancy Quinlan, as Part of Lot 40. Concession 1, W.P.R. (formerly Township of Vespra) Township of Oro-Medonte. ROBERTSON / (f I { \.1 7 I I /..i :\ L./L0/\' l Y " ,,," " ([)~TE .' . ..._. - - '. , . , ~ THIS LEASE AGREEMENT MADE THIS 20th DAY OF FEBRUARY 2003 BETWEEN: THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF ORO-MEDONTE hereinafter called the Township of Oro-Medonte - AND - CURTIS GRAY AND CRISTINA BREMER WHEREAS the Township of Oro-Medonte has used and continues to use, with the express permission of the owner, a portion of Lot 40, Concession 1, WP.R, (formerly Township of Vespra), Township of Oro-Medonte, County of Simcoe, as outlined in Schedule "1", attached hereto and forming part Agreement; AND WHEREAS Curtis Gray and Cristina Bremer, owners of the lands described in Schedule "1" has requested that the Township of Oro-Medonte enter into a lease agreement for the lands; NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Oro-Medonte enacts as follows: 1. That the said lease shall be on a year-to-year basis and shall be renegotiated every year. 2. That the fee for the lease shall be $500.00 per year. 3. That the Township hereby declares that it does not now and undertakes that in the future that it shall not make any claim, directly or indirectly, for possessory title to the lands outlined in the attached Schedule, and owned by Curtis Gray and Cristina Bremer. 4.
