TO THE `ZONING BY-LAW
OF THE TOWNSHIP OF ORO-MEDONTE

TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Oro-Medonte will hold a Public
Meeting on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. in the Municipal Council Chambers. The purpose
of the Public Meeting is to obtain public comments on a proposed Amendment to the Zoning By-law, under
Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O.1990 c. P., 13.
THE PURPOSE of the proposed Zoning. By-law Amendment is to rezone the lands described as Plan
M22, Part Block D,. Reference Plan 51 R11728, Parts 3, 4, 5, and 6, in the Township of Oro-Medonte.
The subject lands are presently zoned Shoreline Residential Exception 99 (SR*99) Zone and/or Open
Space (OS) Zone. The lands presently zoned Shoreline Residential Exception 99 (SR*99) Zone are
proposed to be rezoned to Open Space (OS) Zone:

A CONTEXT MAP illustrating the present zoning of the subject lands is also provided below,.
ANY PERSON may attend the public meeting and/or make written or verbal representation either in support
of, or in opposition to, the proposed Amendment. If a person or public body that files an appeal of a decision
of the Township of Oro-Medonte in respect of the proposed Amendment does not make oral submission at
the Public Meeting, or make written submissions to the Township before the proposed Amendment is
adopted, the Ontario Municipal Board may dismiss all or part. of the appeal.
If you wish to be notified of the decision of the Township of Oro-Medonte in respect to the proposed Zoning
By-law Amendment, you must make a written request to the address below.

Reference: Proposed Amendment to the Zoning By-Law of the Township of Oro-Medonte. kdonte.
The Purpose of this Proposed Zoning By-Law Amendment is to rezone the lands described as ;ribed as Plan
M22, Part Block "D" reference plan 511111728, Parts 3, 4, 5 and 6 in the Township of Oro-Meg Oro-Medonte.
Part 3 (three),Part of Block "D", known to ourselves as "The Boat Ramp" was zoned "OPEN S "OPEN SPACE"
originally and is used by Maplewood Parkway residents for access to Lake Simcoe, therefore ierefore this
parcel of land should be RE-Zoned to OPEN SPACE. However, alternatively, this land identifie identified as the
Boat Ramp could remain as zoned Shoreline Residential Exception 99 with provision for 20 (t for 20 (twenty)
foot wide "Right Away " over this land, from Maplewood Parkway road to the shoreline to reline to service
those with deeded access to Lake Simcoe.
Parts 4 (four), the westerly portion of Block D and Part 6 (six)the easterly portion of block "D' clock "D"

presently zoned as Shoreline Residential Exception 99 should be RE-Zoned as Open Space an(
Joined with Part 5 (five) zoned as Open Space as originally designated.
