Mayor Beard chaired the meeting and called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m.
Council recessed for lunch at 12:10 p.m. and reconvened at 1 :20 p.m.
1. DISCLOSURE OF PECUNIARY INTEREST AND THE GENERAL NATURE
THEREOF: - "IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE ACT"
a) Councillor Sommers declared a pecuniary interest with respect to Item 3(a),
Statement of Accounts. Councillor Sommers left the meeting, did not participate
in the discussion nor vote on any motion with respect to the issue.
2. DEPUTATIONS:

Anne Budge played a tape for Council regarding the use of
snowmobiles and the related noise.

b) 9:30 a.m.
Scott Morrison, The Sheila Morrison Schools, provided
background information with respect to the potential use of the
Edgar property for a Private School situation. Mr. Morrison is
looking for amendments to the by-law to permit a private school
and to allow for the rental of some of the buildings to the public.
