OF THE TOWNSHIP OF ORO-MEDONTE

TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Oro-Medonte will hold a Public
Meeting on Wednesday October 13, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. in the Municipal Council Chambers. The purpose
of the public meeting is to obtain public comments on a proposed amendment to the Zoning By-law, under
Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990 c. P. 13.
THE PURPOSE of the Zoning By-law Amendment is to rezone a portion of the lands described as West
Part of Lot 20, Concession 10, municipally known as 74 School House Road in the Township of Oro-
Medonte. The lands are proposed to be rezoned to allow public auctions selling boats and trailers, RV's,
ATV's, Construction and agricultural equipment and light and heavy duty trucks.
A KEY MAP illustrating the location of the subject lands is provided below.
ANY PERSON may attend the public meeting and/or make written or verbal representation either in support
of or in opposition to the proposed Amendment. If a person or public body that files an appeal of a decision
of the Township of Oro-Medonte in respect of the proposed Amendment does not make oral submission at
the public meeting or make written submissions to the Township before the proposed Amendment is
adopted, the Ontario Municipal Board may dismiss all or part of the appeal.
If you wish to be notified of the decision of the Township of Oro-Medonte in respect to the proposed Zoning
By-law Amendment, you must make a written request to the address below.

The ministry does not object Amendment to the Zoning By-law (2010-ZBA-03), however please be ase be aware that Highway 11
access will not be permitted now or in the future. All access is via School House Road.
O In general, the applicant should be aware that any future improvement on the site will requ gill require ministry review and
approval.
O All the agricultural, light and heavy equipment and trucks should be placed minimum inim um 3m from the ministry
property line.
• Sign permits are also required for any visible- signing within 400m from Hwy 11 property lirni ierty limits.
